The Service Writer assists the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operation within the dealership. Answers customer inquiries about serve work and distributes customer inquiries accordingly. Prepares work orders to ensure technicians have work in front of them and coordinates Parts orders for the service department.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
- Experience working in service department
- Experience with basic accounting practices
- Experience with basic computer functions
- Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
- Experience communicating effectively
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
