Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, aerial lifts, and other various construction equipment.
- Assess parts needed for repairs, communicate this to the parts department, and be able to move to other projects as necessary.
- Spearhead complex repair projects where more than one technician is needed.
- Prepare parts lists and estimate labor time needed to repair customer-owned equipment.
- Document and report the status of repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve overall service efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to heavy equipment repair.
