Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with compact equipment required.
  • Knowledge of tier 4 engines and high-pressure common rail systems.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and manuals.
  • Understand and efficiently complete service-related paperwork.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • DOT physical card required.

Job duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize company software to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on compact construction equipment.
  • Provide the Service Manager with an accurate parts list and labor time needed when a quote is requested for service.

  • Complete quality repairs in a timely fashion and fill-out all details for each job once done.
