Machinist Responsibilities:
- Repair and restore worn components using manual machining and spray welding (training provided)
- Operate and maintain manual lathes, mills, and drill presses
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools to meet tolerance and finish requirements
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
- Safely handle materials using rigging and overhead cranes
- Ideal for candidates with machining or mechanical experience looking to grow their career in a hands-on shop environment
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience repairing engines and/or diesel mechanic experience
- At least 2 years of experience operating manual mills and lathes or similar experience.
